When I’m translating it’s like yay~ this is pretty interesting, and fun! But then… I hit a bump and it’s like why must you do this to me?? as I go and search up the term in 3 different languages and click on like 20 links to make sure it’s not actually a word and face the task of deciding an English equivalent. And then there’s the Chinese idioms and expressions and the way the narrator perspective (in Island) switch between 3rd person and 1st person! *tears* But at the end of it all it’s like

Hell Yeah I’m Done!! XD

BTW, I don’t normally talk like this. I just think like this sometimes, especially after translating lol~ Anyways, I’ll do my best with translating so please do check out Island End of Nightmare~

Sonia’s Intro: (editing Phoenix, Island, Celestial)

Our current super capable proofreader. Who is ” just another nerd that loves Asian comics and novels.” She laments that it’s just “too bad I know very little Japanese and practically no Mandarin or Korean.  If they were written in Spanish, well that I can read.”

C: I have faith Spanish web novels will be brought to us soon!

Fave series are Consort, then Phoenix and lastly, Xiao Qi~

Prady’s Intro: (editing PAH)
“Heyo everybody, I’m Prady, an editor at Volare. I’ve worked on a bunch of projects over some period of time already, you could see my ‘mazing ingrish influences here and there. For now, you can catch me here and/or at Pivot of the Sky, hopefully I can regularly edit if you guys like it. Oh and be nice to Chiyo, or I’ll hunt you down otherwise”
C: heehee (〃▽〃)

MrPriest’s Intro: (editing PAH)
C: What do you do in your free time? What made you volunteer as an editor?
MP: What made me volunteer.
I’ve found this community while just wanting to ask a question or two, soon grew to like the staff and readers, then I’ve decided that I wanted to help.
In my free time I mostly read and chat with the people here, but my hobbies include gaming, drawing and programming.
C: What are your top three favorite C-novels?
MP: Top three is tough.
So far they are ISSTH, SotTR, MGA.
I Shall Seal the Heavens, Sovereign of the Three Realms, Martial God Asura
C: Why the username MrPriest? Any funny stories?
This is more than 3 questions, but just talk about whatever you feel like talking about~
MP: The user name… Well, my family name is Cohen, which were Jewish priests who worked in the house of God. A friend in high school called me that, and I’ve stated using it online.
C: Last one, maybe. What do you think of PAH? How would you sum up the story in one line?
MP: It’s not what I’m used to reading, since I’ve only read those battle novels so far. But I find it really interesting and funny!
One line… Unpredictable roller coaster!

Scullyhahn’s Intro: (editing Consort)
C: Intro please~
Scullyhahn: Intro……Hmmm…..
I am a homeschooling mother of 3. Kdrama/Kpop fanatic branching off into Chinese and Japanese venues. I love to travel, attend concerts (preferably both at once), and practice photography. I started reading Chinese novels when I realized some of the dramas were based off of them and am enjoying the new hobby very much!

LazyMiyu’s Intro: (editing PAH)
Hmmm… an intro:
A lethargic being who is stuck in dream land.

Ocelot’s Intro: (editing XQW + proofreading PAH)
Hi, I’m Ocelot. An ocelot is a nocturnal American wildcat. That sums up what I look like when it’s 4 am and I’m reading new chapters until the sun comes up. I immersed myself in Asian films after I went deaf a few years ago because English subtitles are usually gibberish. That led to C/T/K/J dramas and zero sleep for a few years. I got into translated novels after optioning a few online novels for films and series/dramas. This was meant to be a change from dramathoning, but I’m following 40+ translations so…still addicted…

I’m American (the sane type), I work in film, I live in Seoul, and I speak Korean and a tiny bit of Mandarin. I’m into films, travelling, exploring new places, good food, happy endings, manga/manhua, dramas and films, and the written word. I’ve been machine translating novels that are on hiatus because I want to know what happens next, but my Mandarin is too weak to take on a project. I jumped at the chance to edit because I love the stories that Chiyomira selects and because we all want the next chapter – pronto! It’s cool to be a part of giving people the thrill of a new chapter.

Sorry to have to bother you guys here for this, but us fans have been suffering.
The link for ch67 of The Cry of the Phoenix is dead. And I guess I speak for most of us when I say we’ve been going crazy little by little each time we go there to check it every day and nope, nothing.
    Ch67 is basically taunting us.

Anyways, thanks for all your work. You guys are great.
And if you have any doubts regarding this, you can just check the n.o of people going insane and trying to contact you through various methods (this one included rofl X’D)
