Because I’ve received some complaints, chapters on MBC will henceforth be GIF free. Chapters on Ohanashimi will still have the occasional pic if I find something suitable so those of you who do like the GIFs will still get to enjoy them.
There’s also the new addition of colour-coded speech (as of Ch30) to make it easier to distinguish between speakers.

If the story was more serious, or the chapters were longer, I could agree with those who don’t like the little gifs. As it stands, I quite enjoy the little GIFts. Part of it may be that I know most of them.
So I love your solution to the issue. Best of both worlds.
While I’m thinking about it, I have to say that MBC and the translators having their stuff posted here have good sense, working together like they do.
