Also, I’m really sorry to say that I’m going to have to bump up the donation price to 10$ starting March 2nd. This isn’t to get more money, but it’s just because the current rate of donors and sponsors are way too stressful to make this a long term thing. While I can keep up a 3 chapter per day pace, it’s not healthy because I’m sleeping an hour later than I do normally and have far less time to myself. Please don’t be in a hurry to donate, because the current queue is enough to last until almost mid march.
As a form of minor compensation, there will be an extra 2 chapters released this weekend, and another 2 chapters released next weekend (which totals up into 4 chapters a day on both weekends). Of course, the current donations up to this date will stay at their original terms depending on when they donated, whether it was 2 for 5$, or 1 for 5$. Once again, I am extremely sorry, and to be honest, I’m more of doing this to actually discourage potential donors. I mean like, hey, I’m really thankful you like bewitching prince, but I need some free time as well. Especially if I end up sick or injured one day and become unable to translate for a few days, things would become real troublesome then.
I apologize. I was misinformed, naive, and absolutely stupid on my previous donation prices, making it unfair to both me and you guys for making these rude changes that will definitely offend some people. Even so, I hope you can understand for the sake of my health and mental well being.-Kiki
Have you considered perhaps having a donation meter for each month with goals leading up to a maximum of what you feel to be a reasonable number of bonus chapters? It would allow you to easily tweak the number of chapters you do depending on what you have planned for the next month as well as build up a bit of a buffer for unforeseen circumstances and any donation overflow could go towards the next month while allowing people who want to donate but have limited funds to contribute.
Honestly the last thing I want is to see any translator burn out so I have my fingers crossed on you finding the ideal balance for yourself.
