Chapter 1090 – Plant Essence (10)

Su Luo spread out both hands, with an ‘as expected’ appearance: “Didn’t I say so? She really is Li Yaoyao.”

“Pfft!!!” Beichen Ying recalled Li Yaoyao’s appearance from just now going ‘baa baa baa’. All of a sudden, he hammered the ground and howled with laughter!

Zi Yan also followed after to laugh with him.

The two people, held their stomachs and rolled around on the meadow like idiots, stammeringly shouting: “Ouch, I’m dying of laughter, I’m dying of laughter……”

Li Yaoyao was so angry that her complexion turned red, so red that watery blood almost dripped out!

She, from childhood to adult, since she was born, had never been so disgraced like this!

“Su Luo! I’m going to stake it all with you!”

Li Yaoyao was like a bull, disregarding the consequences, she abruptly crashed towards Su Luo.

Her speed was very quick and her strength was also unprecedentedly huge!

If she was hit by Li Yaoyao, even a hundred Su Luos would be crushed into meat patty.

Just at this crucial moment, two white jade-like slender fingers with clear joints extended out.

With a casual slap!

Li Yaoyao was suddenly slapped to the point of being dizzy with blurred vision, her buttocks sat down hard on the grassy meadow.

Nangong Liuyun appeared as if about to vent his fury. The expression in his eyes was menacing as he glared at Li Yaoyao in an ice-cold manner.

“You want to die?”

If she wanted to die, Nangong Liuyun absolutely wouldn’t mind helping her to succeed.

Li Yaoyao raised her head, meeting those cold eyes that were like millennium-old frozen ice. For a split second, her entire body seemed to have been frozen.

A chilly gust slowly rose up from the soles of her feet.

It was as if a basin of ice water was poured over her head, in a flash, she sobered up.

Situ Ming took two steps forward, with a cold voice, he said: “This matter was not Yaoyao’s fault alone, you might as well go ask your treasured Su Luo! See in the end what she really did!”

A soft breeze brushed past, the corner of Nangong Liuyun’s gown under his jade belt flew up and over, being torn by the wind.

His ink-colored long hair hung down on his broad shoulders. His beautiful eyes hid a sinister charm.

“Ask Luo Luo?” Nangong Liuyun gave a sneer, with a gaze as if looking at an idiot, he cast a demeaning glance at Situ Ming.

“Even if my family’s Luo Luo wanted to massacre all in the whole world, then it ought to be so. How could she possibly be wrong?”

Nangong Liuyun’s gaze was cruel, untamed, and bloodthirsty, with a clear, cold empty tone that was well-known for being terrifying.

Once these words were out, immediately, everyone was dumbfounded.

The shielding of Su Luo’s errors in covering it up, from Nangong Liuyun’s words, the meaning was simply nakedly clear ah.

No matter what his family’s treasured Luo Luo did, it was all correct as it should be.

If someone, because of this, was jealous and wanted to retaliate, then they all deserved to die and couldn’t be forgiven.

Unyielding ah! Loving her to the point obtaining just one smile of hers, he would even fight the entire world, this was really……

Beichen Ying secretly gave him a thumbs up!

Inferior, he was totally inferior to Nangong Liuyun, his second brother.

Situ Ming was stumped for words.

He originally believed that Nangong Liuyun ought to explain everything to the end, right? This time, Su Luo changed Li Yaoyao into a lamb, however you sliced it, she was in the wrong, right?

However, he did thousands, no, ten of thousands of calculations, no matter what, he couldn’t calculate that Nangong Liuyun would be biased to the point of as it should be by right and completely unreasonable.

“You……” Situ Ming suddenly felt that his entire worldview was broken.

He completely didn’t know how he ought to react.

Li Yaoyao was more obvious, directly passing out from being angered.

“Nangong Liuyun, you simply, simply……” Situ Ming simply didn’t know what words he should use to describe this sinister and ruthless male.

Just when the atmosphere was tense, in the air, that huge person’s shadow faintly appeared.

“Time’s up, now hand in all of your Frost Grass.”

The master of the Nine Different Palace Halls’ tone carried a thread of mocking banter.

As if he was just hiding in the layers of cloud, with a gaze that saw through everything, watching them attentively as if watching a play.

First!!! HAHHAHHAHAHHAHHHAHAHHAHA!!!!!!! I was laughing so hard when Beichen Ying and Zi Yan found out that the sheep was actually LYY!!!!! OMG that was hilarious.

If SL say 2+2=5 then lowly beings out there can’t tell her it’s not cause NL will get mad.😂😂😂 anyways I so fucking hate Qidian. I’m sorry for cursing but srsly!! I give complete respect for the authors and for the translators. Like without you guys, people like us who can’t read Chinese characters would not even know that there are interesting and well plotted novels out there and reading historical novels is like a complete bliss for me cause somehow it feels like I get to see a glimpse of Chinese history, culture and the sayings use in the chapters seems really handy😋 (Don’t ask me where I use it though) but because C-novels has become widespread fdue to all the effort of the translators, editors and stuff now money mongrel publishers like qidian are acting all mighty and tyrant!!! I hate it so much. In a year you have to take down everything. I mean tbh this is the first c-novel that i read with cultivation and has gone over 1k chapters. Between just a question though won’t it work if you asked permission from the author? Honestly MOST OF THE NOVELS IN MY LIST OF MUST READS THAT ARE UNDER QIDIAN HAS BEEN DROPPED BY THE AUTHORS LIKE HIDDEN MARRIAGE, EEWC AND MANY MORE AAAAAAASAHHHHHHH what am I gonna do now???????😢😢😢😢😞😞😞😞😞😞😞😞

The dispute comes from the fact WXW had permission but Qidan wanted to take control and said WXW didn’t get permission and if they don’t stop they’ll get sued by Qidan. Other girl novel sites has dropped novels from Qidan’s sister site because they don’t want to deal with it…I’ll keep going until they tell me to stop 🙂

      • Eunieberry says:

Thank you so much June. It’s really sad how things ended up like this somehow if you think about it in the first place qidian or there sister company wouldn’t even bother with the copy rights if only the c-novels became widespread internationally so much that it caught the attention of qidian and just like how Mr. Krabs and his money grubbing claws they decided to put up copy rights yada yada when in fact they just want people to pay them. 😑

        • bp says:

if they would sell the English translated novels here in America i would totally buy them. until then we have to rely on our wonderful translators here thankyou for all your hard wrk

  3. Hyacia says:

Thanks for the chapter. Wonder how the points will be for the challenge.

The Qidian vs WuxiaWorld situation is a load of BS. Typical Chinese company hurting everyone by being greedy. Unfortunately, Qidian has the upper hand legally, since translations are considered derivative works and fan translations are technically infringing; I don’t think “fair use” is an adequate defense. It really is laughable that they (Qidian) have the nerve to call WW pirates after reneging on their promises. That’s exactly what’s going to happen if they try to monopolize and paywall content. People will pirate their content and upload it everywhere. They should really take a more cooperative approach instead of trying to strong-arm the western sites/translators.

Not sure if this site will somehow slip under the radar or be forced to make a deal with Qidian/sister site or shut down… just hoping for the best.

    • Eunieberry says:

Hear hear!! Preach it! Somehow it just made me wonder but what if the translators asked DIRECT permissions from the authors? I mean I know a few novels that asked direct permissions from the authors of the novels to translate their works.

      • 4crosses says:

i think the authors of, for example qidian novels, don´t own the copyrights, since they get paid per chapter. It´s the same, if oyu are, for example, a scientist. if you work for a company and create a medicine that will cure cancer, all rights will be owned by the company, since tey paid you to create it.

      • June says:

I think some have asked authors for direct permission but since Qidan owns their work…they lost all rights to their own work.

  4. Hunny says:

“Even if my family’s Luo Luo wanted to massacre all in the whole world, then it ought to be so. How could she possibly make be wrong?”

    Should be:
“Even if my family’s Luo Luo wanted to massacre everyone in the whole world, then it ought to be so. How could she possibly be wrong/make a wrong decision?”

  5. Oweng says:

“Beichen Ying secretly gave him a thumbs up!

Inferior, he was totally inferior to Nangong Liuyun, his second brother.”

Me: AWW BEICHEN YING!! Is he low-key saying it like it has a double meaning? *CRIES*

Anyway, how on earth was it Su Lou’s fault exactly Suti Ming? I remember that Li Yaoyao was the one who made the first move. It was self defense from the little nine tailed fox okay? Smh and you called Nangong Liuyun biased.
    ~
Oh my gosh is this novel gonna be put down as well? T_T Oh ma. Am I going to be back to just watching anime? Because tbh there’s not much novels out there that I actually like and keeps a constant check on everyday… T_T Gotta enjoy while it lasts I guess.

    Thank you for the update!

  6. Khukaimonster says:

I’m starting to wish that beichen and zi yan would end up together. They’re quite a cute couple. I’m more interested in the two than the main characters

  7. rosana ✨ says:

Thank you for the chapter 💖

  8. Myrissa Moon says:

Wonderful! This made my morning to catch up on a few chapters and your hard work is really appreciated. I would love to pay the authors for their work if they allowed translating and the translators work so hard too. It’s so sad there aren’t more western authors doing good writing like this.

  9. Priti says:

    Thank you for the chapter!!!!
