Chapter 94 – This Young Master Will Make All of Your Accusations True! (4)
Zhou Ji also started to charge towards Ji Fengyan who was the main force behind all of this at the first instant.
A pity though…
Everything was already too late.
Yang Jian’s figure was like a demonic ghost, nobody off to the side could see it clearly. The only thing that could be seen was a constantly flashing afterimage in midair.
All of those released arrows were cut down the instant that they were fired, not even one could get close to Ji Fengyan in the slightest.
At this instant, blood began to fly and splash as cry after cry of bloodcurdling screams rang out in everybody’s ears. Lei Xu could only helplessly watch as those soldiers that he brought along with him were killed by that unmatched figure without the least bit of chance to retaliate.
The thick scent of blood filled Lei Xu’s nose, almost as if the death god’s scythe had hooked onto his neck, causing him to be unable to breath.
“Zhou Ji! Quickly, Zhou Ji!”
At this moment, Lei Xu could only place all of his hopes onto Zhou Ji.
It could be said that Zhou Ji’s strength was at the top in Ji City, and it was only him that could save everything now.
Zhou Ji was constantly sweating as he shot forward like an arrow towards Ji Fengyan who had yet to move.
“My lady!” Ling He screamed in fright. He lifted up his sword, wanting to charge forward.
But…
The heavy sword in Zhou Ji’s hands had already been lifted high up as it solidly struck towards Ji Fengyan’s head!
However, Ji Fengyan still didn’t move as she stood in place. The depths of Zhou Ji’s eyes flashed brightly as his anticipation caused a trace of delight to curl his lips.
Unfortunately…
Ding!
That heavy sword’s solid strike basically didn’t even hit Ji Fengyan’s head, instead when it was several centimetres away, it was “lightly” clamped by two slender and delicate fingers.
Zhou Ji was flabbergasted as he looked at those two fingers. Ji Fengyan had easily stopped his full force attack and no matter how much strength he used, that heavy sword remained stuck, unable to move even the slightest bit.
Ji Fengyan looked up, those smiling eyes clashing with Zhou Ji’s horrified ones.
“A mortal battling against an immortal?” Ji Fengyan’s lips lifted up as she spoke out words that sent a chill throughout Zhou Ji’s body.
Those two fingers that had clamped onto the heavy sword lightly flicked…
An incorporeal power abruptly spread out from the heavy sword. At this instant, that incomparably hard heavy sword was actually faintly shaking, those vibrations instantly heading towards Zhou Ji who was holding the sword.
Almost unconsciously, Zhou Ji quickly let go of the sword.
At that instant when he let go, that constantly shuddering heavy sword fractured with a cracking sound. Right in front of his eyes, the heavy sword that Zhou Ji was so proud of turned into countless pieces of scrap metal, falling besides Ji Fengyan’s feet with light dinging noises.
“You think that trash like you have the qualifications to face off against Big Brother He?” Ji Fengyan asked as she slightly tilted her head, her eyes narrowing.
Even if she hadn’t passed the Heavenly Lightning Tribulation, her soul had early on already ascended to that of half immortality in her previous world. While her Inner Core had been shattered, dealing with these guys who had mortal bodies still didn’t require that much power on her part.
The line between life and death was all decided by her with one thought.
Once Ji Fengyan finished speaking, she lightly swept out her right arm, causing a cool breeze to spring out from the wide sleeve. That breeze gently lifted up the scrap metal from the ground and blew towards the flabbergasted Zhou Ji.
Just like a normal cool breeze blowing across the face, Zhou Ji didn’t feel anything different from his body, however the thick scent of blood wafted up from under his nose.
Unconsciously, he lowered his head to take a look, but what he saw instantly caused the blood in his entire body to freeze!
Zhou Ji’s entire body had been shot full of holes by those scrap pieces of metal, fresh blood trickling down his armour to dye the ground below him a crimson red.
“A mortal battling against an immortal?” heh 😀
Thanks for the chapters.
I prefer GT direct translation actually. “How could mortal fight immortals” it seems more dominating
This part is more of a matter of opinion, I guess. I chose to put it as “A mortal battling against an immortal?” because it seemed to convey that sense of disdain and rhetoric, but either one works.
I agree with you, dear almighty translator! Concerning this naughty little girl, let sarcasm reign supreme! Mouahahahaha! (me? a crazy mental? no… that’s just a misconception…)
Anyway, thank you very much for this niice novel! 😀
Thank you for the wonderful chapter~!
Addicting novel and hair raising too
Ji Fengyan, too cool! Thumbs up!

With all that holes all his arrogance is wiped out.
😘😘😘😘 Thank you!
The coolest FL ever! *kyaaaa ♡*
Thanks for the chapter
Typo report:
arrows were cut down the instant that they were fire — fired
(Although her Inner Core had been shattered, but dealing with these guys — -Although / -but ?)
(blood trickled along with his armour — prepositions? trickled down? over? his armour?)
Thanks for the chapters.
Fixed, thank you!
MWAHAAHAHA Insolent Mortals!
Thank you for the new chapter ^^
*claps* great show Ji Fengyan finally putting the trash in their place 😀 It has been a long time coming but it is a fitting anticlimactic solution to the issue as the arrogant and unsightly mere mortals got wrecked ^_^
see, if they didn’t come, she wouldn’t have killed them. the mines were enough for now. 😛 she would only bother them again once the mine were empty.
Slow, slow claps. Bless our female lead for being like this. :’)
Thank you!
Thank you!
