I just find the beginning of the last paragraph confusing. it’s out of place. what is he not denying? he was the last person to speak. he can’t be reacting to either of the youths mentioned above, because he’s already replied to them. you can’t “not deny” something after answering it. that’s why I wondered if theres something missing, or if that part ended up there by mistake and was supposed to be placed a couple paragraphs above, because it doesn’t make sense placed where it is.
