The first interest was when he noticed SL kicking her sisters into the pond and set them up to be found and shamed.
Then when learned who she is, he decided to take her to test her spiritual power again as well as I think a few other questions.
Afterward he learned 3 things that combined make her potential even far above him.
1. Her power is high tier purple.
2. She is Fire/Wood type (Apothecary)
3. She is also a Space Mage.
Basically her existence itself is such rarity/concentration of potential that anyone would want her, especially so while she’s still immature (in term of power) and can be subdued if necessary (what that maid from JLF place planned)
This is not taking into account her true lineage that he heard from Liu Ruohua, which apparently is even bigger deal since he can’t even tell Su Luo herself.

Chapter 63 and 64… I assume you mean Su Luo’s family secret and not exposing her leaving for Sunset Mountain range when she was grounded?

You are wrong on their first meeting, after she kicked her sisters into the Lake, NLY was telling SL that she was his. Even before NLY found out those other things which thereby made SL much more ENTICING to him.

I thought that Su Luo was going to beat those guys up. Instead, she went to find Nangong Liuyun…even tho she usually gets taken advantage of whenever she meets him ^_^

while i’m still very unhappy about nangong liuyun letting that jade lake’s fairy go free even though she tried to kill su luo -flips table- , i still really like the fact that he treats su luo differently from anyone else in the world!
Another chapter where 1/10 of the chapter is used to praise how wonderful prince Jin expression is. Can’t wait for her to become stronger so that she can become to good for prince Jin
