It’s that sort of story, so I doubt even if you skip many chapters the villain will be less suicidal.
Maybe smarter in their scheme, but nonetheless suicidal.
I mean, from our perspective, even if JLF did manage to kill Su Luo somehow AND manage to show bring back the body so that Liuyun wil stop the mad search, it’s not like he’ll become hers. If anything there’s a bigger chance of him being so depressed that he swore off any marriage forever because it’s his fault the girl died (or even if he married out of obligation, the partner will never be in his eye)
At least Su Luo now have some power to actually fight off these low level plebs, she still need more time to grow enough to face off against the Jade Lake Palace itself.
I think Su Luo is still hitting back at the world. She will mature soon and learn that its not always good to make enemies… you need friends too. One reason I like this story is the growth in the character’s personality. We always welcome our readers back with open arms 😉
