Chapter 236: There is someone on the island

They met quite a few sea beasts along the way, then they entered the sea area again where the ranks of the sea beasts were higher. When they were about to reach the small island, even another elder had to act.

The one who had the biggest gains on this journey was still Sima You Yue. Most people would, at most, kill those sea beasts that they met and throw their carcass into the sea. She, however, would always get Little Roc to catch more than a few sea beasts to keep for ingredients later.

Of course, Sima You Lin and the others also got to eat quite a bit of delicacies.

“We’ll reach in about half a day’s time.” Sima You Lan said while eating some roast meat.

Sima You Yue was glad. She had already been travelling for a godo half of the month and only saw the vast sea every day. She was inexplicably bored and the new experience had long gone dull.

“Which island are we going to?”

“Forgotten Misery Island.” Sima You Lan said, “That’s the biggest island that we can head to right now. There are many precious pill ingredients thre, it’s just that it’s very dangerous and there are many Saint Beasts.”

“Is there Moon Breath Grass and Sunset Cloud Flower?” Sima You Yue asked. These were the most important, if not they would have completely wasted their time!

Sima You Lan nodded, saying, “The people from the Xuan Yuan Pavilion said that some people who picked the Moon Breath Grass picked it from the Forgotten Misery Island.”

“That’ll be great if it were the case.”

Half a day later, they arrived at their destination and came to Forgotten Misery island.

Sima You Yue stared open mouthed at the island, saying blankly, “What kind of island is this, it’s almost a small continent, okay?”

The eldest senior stood beside her, saying, “This island is small in comparison to the entire sea. If you go in deeper, there are even bigger islands.”

“Just how vast is this sea area?” Sima You Yue sighed.

“Nobody knows.” The Eldest Senior said, “Nobody has even travelled across the entire ocean. Not sure if it’s because it’s too dangerous or because time was not enough.”

Sima You Yue understood. This must be an enormous ocean if they didn’t have enough time!

“It’s easier said than done to find the Moon Breath Grass and the Sunset Cloud Flower in a place as big as this!” A guard lamented.

Sima You Yue was also thinking about this problem at this moment

“No need to worry. We have found the person who had found the Moon Breath Flower before and he drew a sketch for us that roughly showed where he got that Moon Breath Grass from that time.” The Eldest Senior said, “Furthermore, You Lan has also smelled the box that contained the Moon Breath Grass. If we encounter it, she will definitely be able to find its position.”

“Cough cough-”

Sima You Yue suddenly thought of what she shouldn’t have thought of when she heard what the eldest senior said. She wanted to laugh but it was not the right time to laugh out loud and could only smirk.

Sima You Lan gave her a smack, glaring daggers at her huffily.

“Didn’t I not say anything?” Sima You Yue could not hold it in anymore and laughed out loud.

“You still dare to laugh!” Sima You Lan immediately shot after Sima You Yue, who broke out into a run.

Sima You Lin watched them mess around and suddenly said, “Somebody’s here.”

Sima You Yue and Sima You Lan stopped as everyone turned to look at Sima You LIn, asking, “Somebody’s here?”

Sima You Lin walked over to a boulder a boulder somewhere as Sima You Yue and Sima You Lan followed him. They saw that there was a pile of firewood that had been burning as wella s some torn clothes. The blood on it was two or three days old.

“There really was someone, I wonder who it was.” Sima You Lan said.

“Looks like it was a single person. I wonder who’s so daring that they dare to live alone on this island.” Sima You Lin said.

“Who knows, we might be able to encounter him!” Sima You Yue said.

“Who knows.” Sima You Lan said, “When that time comes, I definitely have to see what kind of deity dares to live on his own.”

“Let’s go, Eldest Senior has made arrangements.”

Sima You Yue and the others returned and told the Eldest Senior what had happened. After pondering about it for a moment, he said, “Maybe someone is stuck on the island. If we encounter him, we can see whether or not he wants to leave with us.”

“Understood.”

“It’s still early now, let’s go inside and take a walk.” The Eldest Senior said.

They left ten guards behind to take care of the ship as everyone else followed them onto the island.

It was peaceful from the beginning. Maybe it was because they were still at the periphery of the island so they did not meet too many amphibian Sea Beasts. However, everyone kept their guard up.

“Let’s set up camp here for tonight.” Eldest Senior said.

This was the bottom of a mountain and the terrain was rather spacious and suitable for setting up camp.

The guards all began to set up camp. Even Sima You Lin and Sima You Lan set up their own tents, without the arrogance of the average young Lord or Lady.

The curtain of the night quickly descended as the group sat in front of their campfire and chatted to pass the time.

“Awoo-”

A wolf’s cry carried from the outside and everyone stood up in shock.

“There are actually wolves here?”

“Not a wolf, it’s someone’s voice.” Sima You Yue said.

“It’s really someone’s voice!” The guard listened again and this wail was not specialised, and really sounded like someone calling out.

“Do we take a look or not?” Someone asked.

“Young Master You Lin, take a few people with you and check it out.” The Eldest Senior said.

“Okay.” Sima You Lin nodded and called a few of them and left.

Sima You Yue was part of the group and looked at Sima You Lin with dissatisfaction, saying, “I’m so weak, why did you call me to go!”

Sima You Lin turned around and glanced at her saying, “I will protect you!”

Sima You Yue was stunned. This guy actually said that he would protect her?

Apart from Grandfather, her brothers, Wei Zi Qi and the others, nobody had ever said they would protect her before.

Seeing that Sima You Yue was stunned into silence, Sima You Lin merely turned his head back, his mouth turning up at the corners.

He realised that he couldn’t use force with this guy. The more you pressured him, the more he retaliated. If he wanted to get along peacefully, he could only use this kind of method.

However, seeing his reaction really showed that his method was effective.

The stood on the peak of the mountain and saw someone being chased by a group of amphibian sea beasts on another hill. The man who was being chased started to run over here.

“Why is he not just flying up and escaping these Spirit Beasts directly?” Sima You Yue didn’t understand.

“There are restrictions on this island so you’re not allowed to fly into the sky.” Sima You Lin replied. Seeing the silhouette coming closer and closer, he cried out in surprise, “It’s him!”

Sima You Yue looked at the silhouette that had already received multiple wounds and asked, “You know him?”

Sima You Lin nodded his head, however, it seemed as if he didn’t have a good impression of this guy.

When the other party saw that there were people on the mountain top, he changed the direction he was running and ran towards them. When he saw Sima You Lin clearly, he laughed loudly, “Heaven is helping me, Brother You Lin, save me!”

Sima You Yue looked at the person who could still laugh in this kind of situation and her first thought that this guy was a bit carefree and unreliable.

Although Sima You Lin didn’t really like this guy, he still said to the guards with him, “Go and defeat those spirit beasts.”

The guards charged down to battle those Spirit Beasts as that person proudly chased after them to kill them as well.

“Who is he.” Sima You Yu asked again.

“Xuan Yuan Pavilion’s Little Pavilion Owner, Jun Lin.” Sima You Lin replied.
