alyschu speaking here! We’re a group of casuals who translate anything they want from Chinese to English so chapters are translated on our free time and will come out whenever they are finished. There is no set schedule for anything. Glossaries are made by yours truly when translating as I read so it may change every so often if I encounter a better name for people, places, and things. As suggested by the more enthusiastic readers who wish for faster releases, translators on a project with a consistent schedule of novel chapters per week can activate their own bonus chapter event if they feel up to the task. Donations to a team that are not on a sponsored event are 100% appreciate donations and may or may not increase the speed of their translation. Please note that donations are by no means required or necessary and are only there to further motivate the translators.

Translator Requirements (our recruitment policy):
– You have to at least be able to translate an entire chapter and get its point across. An understanding of the Chinese language is required. Try to not skimp details.
Translator Rights:
– No requirement to be a robot and spit out 35353 chapters a day. In the end it’s volunteer work out of your own free will and I won’t force you to do anything you don’t want to! Do whatever you want.
– You will be credited if you contributed to a chapter though, I am big on that.
– Every translator on the team will be able to choose whether or not they want to accept donations. If so, talk to me!
– If you happen to join the team, please tell me beforehand if you’re going on hiatus or else I’ll think you dropped down a toilet and worry about you.
– You have the right to get pissed at whoever you want (as long as it’s not me, heh)

I am the newly minted translator for DKC with Alyschu. I am a rabid foodie and WAS a recovering bookworm. My relapse innocently begins with reading the light novel for the manga Douluo Dalu followed by Coiling Dragon on wuxiaworld. Thankfully the website was hosting Against the Gods translations which lead me to moonbunnycafe and my current obsession with Demonic King Chases His Wife aka DKC.
Once I read the first few translated chapters of DKC by Alyschu my bookworm tendencies returned with a vengeance. After more than two weeks of sleepless nights, I managed to plough through more than 4000 chapters of DKC and caught up to the latest releases. My mind just cannot let this amazing world full of rich vivid characters live in obscurity. Caught up in the moment, I begged Alyschu for a chance to help translate DKC not realizing the enormity of the task ahead. Chapter 11 was my first ever attempt at translating Chinese, thankfully it passed muster after heavy edits made by Alyschu.
As to how fast I will be translating DKC, I am susceptible to food related bribes such as secret family recipes passed on for generations etc…
On a more serious note if you are dying (and I mean it literally not figuratively) to find out what will happen next in DKC and cannot wait for the releases. Then twit me at JunWang03. N.B. as a barely competent twitter user it may take me a few attempts to twit you the answer (twitting me instructions on how to answer back on twitter may help speed up the process). Of course the fewer twits I answer the more time I will have to translate DKC, so think it through before twitting me.

When is chapter 6 of “Regarding my Reincarnation as a Slime” manga coming out? The Manual Progress Report says that the next chapter was supposed to be available on the 28 of September. Right now there is no progress on chapter 6 shown. I love this manga and hope it’s not dead or anything. Any updoot will be helpful.
